Design and performance improvement projects have been successfully completed by engineers at Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) for a wide variety of radars ranging from low-power CW Doppler devices to MegaWatt pulsed "big sensor" systems such as the PARCS, Pave Paws, and Cobra Dane radars.
Other research projects involve radar-like ranging devices for wireless sensor networks and use of harmonic reflections for discrimination of active electronics.
